Sustainability Lead, Asia PacificCargill Cocoa and Chocolate
Megan Willis is a sustainability and social impact specialist with expertise in agriculture supply chains in emerging markets. She currently leads sustainability programming in the Asia-Pacific region under the Cargill Cocoa Promise, ensuring that major chocolate brands meet their sustainability commitments while supporting cocoa farmers to earn higher incomes through sales of certified sustainable products.
Prior to joining Cargill, Megan served as a diplomat under the U.S. Agency for International Development, where she oversaw agriculture value chain upgrading and rural financial services programs in Senegal, South Sudan, and Myanmar.
Megan holds her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and graduate degrees from Johns Hopkins University – School of Advanced International Studies and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
