Ani Setiyoningrum

Profile

Ani Setiyoningrum is a Business Development Manager at Barry Callebaut Asia Pacific. She oversees the implementation of sustainability programs in Indonesia, to meet the standard and expectation of relevant parties involved. Her other main task is supporting sales and commercial team to raise awareness of customers in Asia Pacific on the importance of sustainable products and how it can create impact for the community and planet. She is also actively engaged in the Cocoa Sustainability Partnership and government outreach in Indonesia.

Ani had worked in the area of raw-material Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain and led the team for implementation of Sustainability programs on ground. The experience has shaped her knowledge on various issues, from cocoa beans trading and supply chain structure, dealing with customers, until off-farm and on-farm problems. She enjoys working for Barry Callebaut, a company with diverse employee backgrounds which allows her to learn and respect people from various unique cultural backgrounds. Integrity is one of her keywords which she applies to both her personal and working environment.

Ani is originally from Bandung and lived in the outskirt several kilometers away from the factory where she’s based, when not travelling. She enjoys cooking simple foods, music, reading, watching movies and hanging out with friends and family.

Chef Janice Wong’s never-ending passion for culinary art has propelled her forward to test the limits of dessert making. The native Singaporean has learned from some of the world’s best chefs, including US luminaries Thomas Keller and Grant Achatz, virtuoso Spanish chocolatier Oriol Balaguer, and prodigious French pastry chef Pierre Hermé. An undisputed favourite among sweet-toothed Singaporeans, her dessert restaurant 2am:dessertbar has recently celebrated their twelfth-year anniversary, redefining the dessert experience and pushing the boundaries between sweet and savoury with carefully researched progressive dishes.

In November 2014 she launched her eponymous sweet concept, JANICE WONG, and recently launched her new concession stand at the world-renowned Harrods department store in London in 2018. Chef Janice has received worldwide recognition for her cutting edge creations and is a regular on the global pop-up circuit. Notable global collaborations include Janice Wong in Paradise City Seoul and Busan, Wonderbox in Seoul, and Janice Wong’s first solo exhibition in Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki featuring her signature edible art works.

She has been named Asia’s Best Pastry Chef; for the second year running by the prestigious San Pellegrino Asia’s 50 Best for 2013 & 2014. Janice Wong also won the title of Pastry Chef of the Year from the World Gourmet Summit Awards in 2011, 2013 and 2015, including the title of Young Woman of the Year from Her World in 2012.

Fay Fay Choo is the Asia Director for Cocoa Sustainable Sourcing for Mars, Incorporated. She has 23 years of supply chain and strategic sourcing experience in the food industry and in the past five years has been directly responsible for sustainable cocoa development in Asia, where Mars has an extensive program covering plant science research, technology transfer and certification with tens of thousands of farmers in Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
